Red Roses
Description
This was a classroom assignment in college, where fresh-cut roses were set in a vase. You can tell I did not have them in front of me when I did the leaves and stems; that was all guess-work.
Live references used. Colored pencils on 11X14 sketch paper. Sprayed with fixative to prevent smudging.
