Sing your joys to the moon. Title inspired by the Wolf series by Jane Lindskold (best books ever!). Anyways, here is Ary (short for Aryenne) with Shinrai. Aryenne is a shapeshifter. And since she's on the run, she hiding out, temporarily, as a wolf. Because of her unique colorations, she doesn't tend to hide so well. This was done for kuro-shinzui-ookami's contest on deviantART, to draw her character with one of mine.

Referenced Aryenne from Wolf 36 by ForsakeWolf. Shinrai referenced from Wolf 40 also by ForsakeWolf. Colored pencils and watercolor pencils on 9X12 sketch paper. Sprayed with fixative to prevent smudging.
